I was double checking to see if anyone was interested in trying to do a incredibly short handed attempt on HoX. After thinking about it, I think it would be relatively easy to 5 or 6 man the quest. If we had two healers, Reckluse for neat Ranger stuff(not sure what your plans were since the reinc) and a few different types of dps, just for the variety. I think after killing the flayers if the dps ran a circuit around the outside instead of killing the mobs it would work. Once the DM announces it's time to smack the puppy we could do it and the trash would die instantly. It was a thought I had brought up briefly before leaving the other day and wanted some opinions on it.

some caster would make things way easier because he can buff the puppies and it's by far the easiest way to attract the monsters coming out of the portals. and that caster will be chased by a ton of monsters. the problem is they must not go to the center and the caster must stay alive. additionally if you don't kill anything the monsters WILL run through the center to shortcut the way to the mage that has their aggro

I think it's feasible with 5 or 6 people.

A bait to play with the DOG and the doggies.
One healer to keep both the bait and the doggies alive.
One person to charm the doggies and buff them up (a bard or arcane).

One person to maintain aggro around the outer circle, preferably a caster with fogs.
One, but preferably two good melees to protect the caster and eventually bring more stones to the centre if needed.
